4th Place

Chad Amory
United States
Chad Amory is a photographer currently based in Oakland, California. He has spent the past six years photographing both the people on the streets and their urban environment. He uses candid snapshots of fleeting moments as both a starting point and as his main source of inspiration. His work examines familiar scenes that are stripped of their previous meaning and re-contextualized as vivid moments. Abstracting framed instances that would go unnoticed creates opportunities for deeper visual contemplation. By taking daily life as subject matter, new insights are manufactured prompting the viewer to further examine and develop a stream of thought. Chad is currently a member of the Bay Area Photography Collective, BAPC.

5th Place

Alexandre Deleau
France
I have been working for ten years as a videographer and had filming around the world. Since one trip in 2010 I started taking pictures quite randomly during scouting, errands & rapid sightseeing, with my Olympus Trip35, and with my Canon EOS7D. Since then, I take street photography pictures quite randomly, and quickly, snapshot of freeze frames capturing the city pulse, hence quite full of life. Sometimes I must confess, I don't even compose, even aiming. That's how I like it. You will find analog & digital pictures, has I still altern between the two mediums, each one having its pros and cons.
